Course of the regatta

We reserve the right to adjust the course of the regatta depending on the further course of the pandemic. For example, the registration and startup process could still be changed.

Friday evening, St. Goarshausen, route A

For the teams of the route A it is obligatory to arrive on Friday.
Starting on Friday afternoon, the boats will be re-assembled in the sheltered harbour, covers mounted and prepared for the EUREGA.
Registration is possible from 6 pm for all teams. The starting numbers are handed over against a security deposit (see costs) and the declarations of consent (see security) are accepted. The vaccination certificates will also be checked. At a later hour depending on the arrival, all teams of the route A are invited to our large common meal consisting of pasta.
Subsequently, the coxswain briefing takes place.
The place of assembly will be the Loreleyhalle in St. Goarshausen. Address: Bahnhofstraße 8, 56346 St. Goarshausen. This year you can spend the night in the hall for 5,- EUR per person again.

Morning, St. Goarshausen, start route A

Depending on the number, the first boats have to be launched from 6:30 am. This is necessary as there is only one badly accessible footbridge in the sheltered harbour. The boats which registered last (see registration procedure) are launched first to the water.
From approx. 9 am the start takes place by calling out from the EUREGA race captain.

Morning, Neuwied, start route B

From early in the morning it is possible to prepare the boats in the area of the Neuwieder Ruder-Gesellschaft. From about 9 am the registration is possible. Here the starting numbers are handed over against a security deposit (see costs) and the declarations of consent (see security) are accepted.
From 11:00 am the flying start takes place in the previously published order from the jetty.

Afternoon, Bonn, destination

From about 2pm the first boats reach the destination in Bonn.

Award ceremony, Bonn

The award ceremony takes place depending on the arrival of the last boat and at the earliest at 6 pm at the boathouse of the Bonner Ruder-Verein 1882 e.V..
The issuing of the regatta t-shirts will follow after the award ceremony!
